Sakura Tsuba

A beautiful authentic antique Japanese tsuba. This is a very nice part of the koshirae (mounts) of the sword. This protected the hands against an attack but also provided balance, protection and provided the katana with radiation. Certainly in the Edo period it was a part of significance for the status of a samurai.
