A Shaolin Jian made by the famous smiths of Hanwei and with the permission of the Shaolin Temple a sword that combines the principles of Zen with the physical form of Kung Fu.

China's famed Shaolin Temple is renowned for its association with Chinese martial arts and particularly with Shaolin Kung Fu, the study of which involves a deep immersion in the principles of Zen Buddhism.

Hanwei has created a sword, with the express authorization of the Shaolin Temple, which merges the philosophical principles of Zen with the physical form of the Kung Fu Jian, illustrating the unity of philosophy and the martial arts.

This sword embodies the spirit of the Shaolin Temple and its martial arts traditions in a simple but elegant design.

The blade of the Shaolin Jian is forged in high-carbon steel, carefully heat treated and polished. The highly detailed fittings feature lotus flower decoration and the Shaolin Temple emblem in antiqued stainless steel.

The scabbard and handle are crafted in bamboo, exemplifying the spirit of Zen.
