The Musashi Katana from the Kaizen Sword Art series combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern efficiency. This handcrafted katana is forged from high-quality 1095 carbon steel and undergoes a careful clay-tempering process, creating an elegant and authentic visible hamon. The result is a sharp, functional Japanese sword that excels in stability, cutting performance and durability.

A classic shinogi-zukuri blade style with bohi. With a nagasa of 70.4 cm and an ergonomic 26.5 cm tsuka wrapped tightly in black cotton ito, this katana offers excellent balance and control. The genuine white samegawa, two mekugi and full-tang construction ensure maximum safety and reliability.

Equipped with bo-hi

The bo-hi (blade groove) in the Musashi Katana is carefully crafted to reduce overall weight without compromising structural integrity. This results in a livelier balance and faster, more controllable handling during training and cutting practice.

In addition to the functional weight reduction, the bo-hi produces a clear tachikaze (the characteristic cutting sound), offering valuable feedback for correct cutting technique.
