Hanwei's Practical Pro Elite Katana has an extended tsuka and a thicker and longer blade forged in high carbon steel.

This Samurai sword has a fine polish. The ray skin-covered tsuka is wrapped with cotton ito and double-pegged for safety. The saya features a deep black lacquer finish with a black cotton sageo.

The Katana is stylized with a round kuruma tsuba, which represents the "Wheel of Dharma," symbolizing the Buddhist concept of the Noble Eightfold Path.
