This masterly forged Samurai Sword features a beautiful evenly waved hamon and finely rendered snake motifs gracing the kashira, fuchi and tsuba.

The Green Snake Katana has a hand-forged & folded K120C powder steel blade, differentially tempered using a traditional claying method to produce an HRC60 edge, HRC40 back. The temper line (hamon) is evident and prominent and the grain pattern (itame and mokume hada) shows distinct layers.

The tsuba of the katana of blackened iron with snake mofit . The tsuka-ito on the katana is woven from premium green Japanese cotton. The kojiri, koiguchi and kurikata are of polished buffalo horn. The katana blade has no-hi and has medium-length (chu) kissaki. The menuki show a pair of birds.
