This particular katana is based on the classical shinogi zukuri style. The 28 cm tsuka is wrapped with a black suede ito in hineri maki style (Alternating Twist Style). The black saya has a simple stone texture. The habaki displays an elegant rain pattern to add extra interest to the mounts. An excellent katana for the iaido practitioner who would like to start tameshigiri training with a relatively inexpensive but durable katana.

The Raptor katana series have no hamon.
