Nittoho Tamahagane

Genuine Tamahagane in wooden box with calligraphy out of Japan.

Under the Japanese Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords (Nittoho) they manage the Nittoho Tatara to produce Tamahagane for Japanese Sword forging.

The Nittoho Tatara is operational only during the winter and the Nittoho Tatara is, built in Yokota, Shimane Prefecture, Japan.

The Tamahagane comes in a box and has either one larger piece or two or more pieces. The box has the official stamp of the All Japan Swordsmiths Association-Kanto Region.|
